Multan Cricket Stadium
About Multan Cricket Stadium
Multan Cricket Stadium is one of Pakistan's newest and most impressive cricket venues. Built in 2001 within the historic Ibn-e-Qasim Bagh park complex, it quickly became a regular host for international cricket before the 2009 hiatus. The stadium was extensively upgraded for PSL matches, with improved seating, modern floodlights, and enhanced broadcast facilities. As the home of the Multan Sultans, the venue has witnessed some of the most passionate T20 crowds in Pakistan. Multan's hot climate creates unique playing conditions — the pitch tends to be slow and dry, offering significant assistance to spin bowlers. The Sultans' astute use of spinners at home has been a key factor in their PSL success, including their dominant 2021 title-winning campaign.

Pitch Report
The Multan pitch is slow and low, offering excellent grip and turn for spin bowlers. Fast bowlers need to vary their pace to succeed here, as genuine pace is taken off the ball by the slow surface. Moderate dew in the second innings can flatten conditions slightly. Teams with quality spinners have a significant advantage at this venue.
